This is a 100-km ultra-marathon that people run around Lake Saroma, from Yubetsu-cho to Tokoro Sports center in Tokoro. It is recognized by the Japan Athletics Association and runners from all over Japan attend this meet. There is also a 50-km marathon that people run from Saroma-cho.
