Tanno-cho was founded by the Tonden soldiers who settled there in 1897 and 1898. Historical records from that time, houses of Tonden soldiers, portraits of soldiers and pioneers, agricultural machines and records pertaining to the historic spot “Kusarizuka” (The Chain Mound) on the Central road (constructed in 1891) are displayed here. |
