Completed in 1920, this is one of Rubeshibe’s important historical buildings. It is the oldest remaining train station in the Abashiri district and although it is no longer used has been preserved because it was selected by the Japanese Construction Society as a great example of modern Japanese construction. The original construction tools are displayed inside the building. |
